The company Pupa launches the Wonder Me Shake Blush – an innovative creamy-liquid blush in packaging with a unique sponge applicator, in six shades inspired by cocktails. We tried the blush in the Pink Mojito shade and were impressed by its special texture. The formula is indeed light and blends nicely into the skin without settling into wrinkles, and the result is natural and fresh. The sponge applicator allows precise application, and the color can be built up gradually. The durability is reasonable – about four hours before needing a touch-up. The shades are beautiful and diverse, and only the cocktail names are just a gimmick and nothing more. Price: NIS 99.

Nikol

Nikol launches paper towels in a new format: rolls with half-sheets that allow precise adjustment of the amount of paper for each use. The new package contains eight rolls. The half-sheet idea is indeed convenient for small uses, such as wiping drops or placing a cookie, and prevents paper waste. Tearing is easy and the paper absorbs well as always. However, sometimes we found ourselves using a full sheet regardless of the format, simply out of habit. Overall, a smart idea that works. Price: NIS 35–40.

Of Tov

Of Tov recently launched two new products: Dak Dak pastramis in honey and barbecue flavors, and sesame crispy sticks. We were mainly impressed by the ultra-thin pastramis – the slices are indeed thin and juicy, rich in protein, and very convenient for quick sandwich preparation. The honey flavor is balanced and not too sweet, and the barbecue has a pleasant smoky note. The sesame sticks are crispy and tasty, though they don’t offer anything unique compared to similar products on the market. The quality is good, as expected from the brand, and the prices are reasonable for processed chicken products. A convenient choice for those seeking a quick and tasty meal or sandwich solution. Price: NIS 25–35.

Vichy

Vichy launches a night cream from the Mineral 89 series with pure melatonin, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins B3 and E. We tested the cream for about two weeks and were positively impressed. The texture is light and pleasant; although it’s a night cream, it absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. In the morning, the skin is indeed soft and plumper, with a fresh look. The moisture lasts well into the next day. The price is very reasonable for a night cream in the dermo-cosmetic category, and the fact that it’s suitable for sensitive skin is an advantage. Price: NIS 160.90.

Asics

Asics launches the GEL KAYANO 32 model, a new generation of the Japanese brand’s running shoes, featuring an advanced stability system and innovative cushioning technologies. We ran in the shoes for about two weeks across various distances and terrains, and the impression is very positive. The cushioning is soft and comfortable, the feeling is that the foot is supported and stable throughout the run, and the low weight is barely noticeable. The sole provides excellent shock absorption even on hard asphalt, and grip is good even on slippery surfaces. The only downside we found is the price range, but the excellent build and advanced technology justify the investment for regular runners. Price: NIS 899.90.

Keshet Te’amim

Keshet Te’amim presents a premium ice cream series from Germany, two brands that will be sold exclusively at the chain: HAPPY MRS. JERSEY, offering ice creams made from organic Jersey cow milk, and THE ICELY BROTHERS, offering a vegan version. We tasted ice creams from both series, and the impression is mixed. The dairy ice cream is indeed rich and indulgent, especially the pistachio with caramelized almonds and salted caramel. The vegan version sparked mixed opinions, mainly because some of us felt the ice creams were too sweet. Still, it’s good news for vegans who now have a broader range of flavors at affordable prices. Price: NIS 29.90.

Uriage
Uriage (credit: PR)

Uriage, the French brand, offers a new serum against dark spots. This is a product from the Depiderm series with 20% vitamin C and niacinamide for skin brightening. We tried the serum for about three weeks, and the impression is positive. The texture is light and absorbs quickly without leaving oiliness, and the serum is very comfortable to use under day or night cream. There is indeed a slight improvement in the appearance of sunspots and in skin tone uniformity, and there was no irritation or redness, even on sensitive skin. Suitable for those dealing with hyperpigmentation and willing to invest in targeted care. Price: NIS 250.90.

Revlon

Revlon launches FULL TIME COLORSTAY – a new mascara with 24-hour wear technology and sunflower microfibers for a natural look. We tried the shiny black shade, and the impression is mixed. The durability is indeed good – the mascara lasts over ten hours without smudging or flaking, even in hot weather. The brush is comfortable for application, and the lashes look separated and naturally enhanced. The drawback is that the formula is a bit dry, making it hard to build up additional layers for a more dramatic look. Also, removal requires a good makeup remover. A good option for those looking for a durable everyday mascara. Price: NIS 77.
