Meanwhile, the IDF and US military continued strikes across Iran, including Tehran, on Sunday night, according to eyewitnesses and anti-regime media.

The IDF targeted sites used by security forces that work under the umbrella of the Iranian regime, including weapons production and storage sites.

The facility, which was located inside Tehran’s Malek-Ashtar University, was used to develop ballistic missiles in addition to nuclear weapons, the IDF stated.

The military also announced that it had struck weapons production sites and ballistic missile launcher storage facilities located in Tehran.

The new tactic is for air force jets to accelerate to high altitude on a much faster, steeper trajectory when taking off from Israel to save fuel.

Since the start of the war against Iran, Israel has dropped around 12,000 bombs, including 3,600 within the Tehran region alone.

Among the sites targeted during the strikes was a major Iranian Navy port, at which five missile ships equipped with air defenses and anti-submarine missiles, were destroyed
