N12, however, reported that it has not yet been determined whether Sara Netanyahu will receive security for life or for only five years, but it is estimated that her request will be granted.

According to N12, the request occured during a meeting with David Zini, head of the Shin Bet (Israeli Security Agency).

Since there was no intention to question journalists about the leak, but only members of the defense establishment, the Shin Bet ruled that there is no need to obtain the A-G's approval.

Shin Bet Chief Zini had his first meeting with Opposition leader Yair Lapid since taking his new post, amid allegations of excessive loyalty to Netanyahu.

A Channel 14 commentator revealed in an interview that he had a meeting with Zini regarding the ministers' demand to investigate an alleged leak to another channel.

His remarks followed David Zini's comments, in which he explained why he accepted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer to serve as head of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).
