Allure Series, Barkan Winery
A complete understanding of what is required on the Seder night table, and an equally good understanding of what is required now, led to a joyful-intoxicating launch by the veteran Israeli winery.
Barkan’s Allure series harnesses the vineyards of the Judean Hills and the Galilee for its bottles and presents four white wines, under the promise “Effortless elegance”. They are festively designed, convey both lightness and investment, and encourage joyful gathering, as we deserve now (and always, in fact), while fulfilling a promise of an accessible price (NIS 55–60).
Within it, one can find a shimmering Sauvignon Blanc from the 2025 harvest, carrying aromas of citrus and guava “and intended for good moments”, an orange Allure from Muscat of Alexandria and Colombard grapes with a lovely color and a deep sip, a pale greenish Roussanne that leverages “great terroir” for a delicate sip, as well as a floral-fruity Viognier, “young, inviting and pleasant”.
