West Bank Violence

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, several government officials, and opposition figures condemned the Jewish extremists who rioted in the West Bank on Monday.

The manhunt developed as a somewhat unusual event, given that lately the IDF only arrived at the scene of Jewish violence toward Palestinians in order to end and disrupt that violence.

Israeli forces were dispatched to the scene of the riot, carried out in response to an earlier demolition of an illegal settlement outpost in the Judean hills.

“The IDF will not tolerate the behavior of a criminal minority that stains a law-abiding public," IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said in a statement.

Rubio's comments came after a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Canada, where he also discussed the Gaza stabilization force, Saudi relations, Iran sanctions, Syria, as well as other topics.

In total, only six attackers were caught, and four were detained. This marks the 85th recent attack on Palestinians, with the IDF calling for more tools against offenders.

The rabbi, who remained anonymous, was accused of inciting violence during the riots at the West Bank village of Burkin, which was home to the terrorist who killed Tzeela Gez and her son.

The Israeli military said that the two were moderately wounded and taken to a hospital for treatment

The members of the terrorist cell were suspected of attempting to launch a rocket from the West Bank toward Israeli territory last week.

Of those arrested, 13 were terrorists who worked to harm Israeli civilians and soldiers in the Beit Lehem area, ten were terrorists from the Kabatiya area, and nine were Hamas terrorists.
