The Ukrainian ambassador asked Israeli businesses to close operations in Russia “because they indirectly help Russia kill women and children.”

The children will learn a variety of topics, some of them organized by the Israeli team that arrived in Lviv a few days ago, composed of professionals in martial arts and physical education.

Jerusalem has hesitated to provide Ukraine with any military assistance, even that of a defensive nature, given that it has attempted to maintain ties with both Moscow and Kyiv.

Zelensky said he expects Israel to join the sanctions against Russia. In his words: “Unfortunately, we haven’t seen Israel joining yet.” Ukraine is turning the proverbial screws on Israel.

Jerusalem's reticence to help Ukraine militarily while its closest partners have done otherwise stems from Russia's power in Syria.

According to the former Mossad chief, despite a heavy push and criticism from both the US and the entire West, "Israel almost didn't change its position at all” in being overly neutral toward Russia.

"I want the Israeli government to move away from its comfort zone and get back to reality," Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk said.

With the funds, they were able to fly in medical equipment, professionals and consumer goods to Ukraine through aid and rescue organizations.
