Despite falling EV sales in Israel, electric pickups are rising: Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra claim 53% of their market, paving the way to challenge Hilux and D-Max in the largest segment.

Tesla is moving toward global leadership in autonomous driving, which the company’s chairman, Elon Musk, has identified as a strategic goal.

The company launched a Hebrew-language website for preorders in early August and began providing the services in the country on Thursday. 

The data shows Tesla's customer loyalty peaked in June 2024, when 73% of Tesla owners in the market to buy a new car bought another Tesla. The rate bottomed out at 49.9% in March.

The payout includes $129 million of compensatory damages and $200 million of punitive damages.

The tycoon and Tesla owner makes yet another explosive announcement, as usual, posting on his X account that “Optimus will deliver food to your car already next year,” referring to Tesla’s robot.

Trump's comments come after billionaire Elon Musk renewed his criticism on Monday of Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill," vowing to unseat lawmakers who backed it.

Trump said a review of Musk's extensive contracts with the federal government was in order.

Their sparring hammered shares of Musk's electric vehicle maker Tesla, which lost about $150 billion in value, closing down 14.3% for the day.
