State Attorney Aisman warns Mahash law could put sensitive cases under political pressure

State Attorney Amit Aisman warned that the Mahash reform under the Justice Ministry could expose sensitive investigations to political pressure. The law passed Knesset and faces High Court petition.

Knesset passes law placing internal police investigations under Justice Ministry's authority

The legislation was passed with 43 lawmakers in favor and 39 against after a lengthy plenum debate. It was sponsored by Likud MK Moshe Saada.
