US Navy reveals ultra-long-range air-to-air AIM-424 Malice missile with over 460 km. range

The missile, which is undergoing testing, is being developed and will be manufactured by Raytheon to give pilots operating from US aircraft carriers the ability to destroy from very long range.

An AIM-424 Long Range Air-to-Air Missile (LRAAM) is mounted in the internal weapons bay of an F-35C with an AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) mounted on the weapon bay door.
