US legal adviser says Iran war justified by Tehran's 'aggression' over decades

State Department Legal Adviser Reed Rubinstein made the arguments in a statement released days before a deadline for Trump to obtain congressional approval for the war with Iran.

Iran continuing to lay mines in Strait of Hormuz, US official says
