Yom Kippur through the centuries: The prayer books that preserve centuries of Jewish history

In an interview with The Jerusalem Post, NLI’s curator Dr. Chaim Neria explains how the NLI came to house thousands of prayer books, noting that “it fits into the overall mission of the library.”

Ancient texts belonging to the Beta Israel community are set to be made available for public

Among the texts included in the project and penned in the Ge'ez language, is the Orit, the Beta Israel Torah which includes the five books of the Torah, the book of Joshua, Judges and Ruth.
