“It will not happen under any circumstances, even if a budget is not passed,” Regev’s office said, insisting she will block any additional burden on riders without parallel service improvements.

Váradi told the transportation minister during their meeting that “In the next three years, we will add 4,000 jobs in Israel, and about 500 employees will be hired directly by Wizz.” 

The airline seeks "seventh freedom" rights to fly non-EU routes from Israel, threatening local carriers and stalling the highly anticipated hub plan.
