THE 66TH BATTALION memorial at Jerusalem’s Ammunition Hill now bears four sections, tracing the unit’s losses from the Battle for Jerusalem in 1967 to Israel’s subsequent wars, and, most recently, honoring five veterans Hamas murdered during or after the October 7 massacre.
