Indictment

The Tate brothers, former kickboxers with dual US and British ​citizenship, were arrested in Miami in late July after Britain requested their extradition.

The indictment, filed with the Beersheba District Court, charges all 12 with reckless homicide, aggravated serious bodily harm, and multiple counts of aggravated assault causing bodily harm.

Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neill told a press conference that officials decided to bring state charges because in North Carolina the girl can be tried as an adult.

She also denied one count of stirring up racial hatred in written material and a further count of using words that were threatening or abusive.

Peter Larsen, 48, of Orem, Utah, was indicted by a federal grand jury "for the federal hate crime of willfully causing bodily injury to a victim because of his actual or perceived religion."
