The organization is the official US branch of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization, established after the War of Independence with the goal of rehabilitating wounded soldiers.

The IDF's reality, where it wants both women and religious men serving together, demands clear rules, common sense, and commanders who know the soldiers they lead.

During the protest, some demonstrators began intermittently blocking traffic routes in the area, including roads leading into the city, disrupting traffic and daily life.

As the IDF incorporates more religious soldiers and more women, it will need to demonstrate common sense, sensitivity, and flexibility.

The lawsuit reportedly alleges false accusations, a widely publicized wrongful arrest, the leaking of investigative materials, and defamation stemming from the publication of the video.
