The survey also examined a scenario in which three Arab parties - Hadash, Ta'al, and Balad - run together, while Yoav Segalovich joins Ra'am in the party's second slot. 

One of Yashar's focuses would be on improving services for elderly olim and ensuring better translation of Hebrew websites into different languages.

The poll also scrutinized how voters would react to a scenario in which Hadash, Ta'al, and Balad united to run as a joint list, or if a so-called "third bloc" formed.

"Shirel is a symbol of the citizens who rose up after October 7, took responsibility, and decided to act in order to lead Israel toward repair," Eisenkot stated.

Horowitz told Channel 12 that his decision to return to politics was heavily influenced by the October 7 Massacre and its aftermath. His three sons were all called to reserve duty when war broke out.

The latest poll showed that 41% of people think Netanyahu would make a better leader than Eisenkot, compared to 34% who think Eisenkot would be better.

With Eisenkot emerging as the opposition's strongest electoral asset, its rival leaders should stop competing for the top spot and instead present voters with a united shadow cabinet.

Among the opposition parties, the Democrats have failed to return to double digits after losing two seats last week, falling to nine, below the level recorded before the party’s primaries.

Former minister Haim Ramon said the attacks by Bennett and Lapid were unlikely to help them recover lost Knesset seats and could instead benefit Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
