Heavy rains and deadly floods in southern India kill 14, displace thousands

The death toll in rain-related incidents rose to 11 by Sunday, and nearly 7,700 people were evacuated to around 275 relief camps across Kerala, a state government minister said.

Ten killed after school gymnasium roof collapses in China

There were 19 people at the gymnasium when the accident occured. Four people escaped and 15 were trapped, the municipal search and rescue headquarters said, according to state media said.
