"We are investigating this explosion," the spokesperson said. "The fire was immediately extinguished by security. We are reviewing footage and are calling on witnesses to contact the police."

The attack came after a missile was intercepted on its way to Doha, Qatar, on Friday night, with the country evacuating certain areas as a precautionary measure.

Iranian firefighters extinguished the blaze and reported no injuries after it erupted at a carpentry workshop in a Tehran military complex.
