Operating as flights MU746 and MU745, the twice weekly service will span roughly 19,700 kilometers with a two hour Auckland stop, surpassing the 15,300 kilometer Singapore–New York record.

The world’s longest non-stop flight is by Singapore Airlines, linking Changi, Singapore, with JFK, New York. It covers 15,300 km in about 18.5 hours, making it the ultimate ultra-long-haul journey.
