The dermo-cosmetic brand CeraVe is launching for summer 2026 a new sun protection series including three products that combine exceptionally high protection from sun rays with care and moisture ingredients adapted to different skin types.
The new series was developed with the goal of providing a solution for the daily care routine during the summer season, with lightweight formulas that absorb quickly, do not leave white marks and are based on three essential ceramides that help in strengthening the natural protective barrier of the skin.
At the center of the launch stands a nourishing lotion for very high sun protection SPF50+ intended for the face and body. The lotion is suitable for the whole family, including children, and includes the brand’s unique MVE technology for the gradual release of moisture ingredients throughout the day. According to the company, the product grants up to 24 hours of moisture, is resistant to sweat and sand and is suitable for daily use, for sports activity and for staying at the beach.
In addition, the company is launching a balancing facial lotion for normal to oily skin with SPF50+, intended for those looking for high protection alongside a matte and shine–free look. The formula combines niacinamide to soothe the skin and promises up to 12 hours of balance and oil control. The lotion is fragrance–free, hypoallergenic and non–comedogenic, so it is also suitable for use under makeup.
The third product in the series is a nourishing facial lotion for normal to dry skin with SPF50, which grants prolonged moisture alongside high sun protection. Here, too, MVE technology is used to maintain a stable moisture level throughout the hours of the day. In addition, they note at CeraVe that the product helps in protecting against air pollution damage, which is considered one of the factors for premature aging of the skin.
