From season to season, we find ourselves filtering our wardrobe and building a smart and situation-appropriate closet — for our current sizes, trends, and the spirit of the times in general. A must-have item that repeats itself every year and will forever be one of the warm (as much as possible) clothing pieces is the leather coat or jacket. Elin Cohen made a smart move this year and recruited two such pieces made of vegan leather.
Right after representing us and being chosen as the Israeli ambassador among the line of show guests who sat in the front row of the Victoria’s Secret runway, and before returning to Los Angeles, the young influencer and businesswoman managed to use her free time to stroll through the streets of the Big Apple. There, she presented two of her new purchases for the season.
The first, which if you ask us is also the winning one, is a fall choice of a faux leather jacket that, beyond its stunning reddish-brown hue, includes a built-in waist belt on a super-compact cut. Two front pockets and a hidden button closure are positioned on the front of this ultimate piece — which can easily work in complementary styling not only with pants but also paired with skirts of any length. All this goodness she combined with the iconic 'Paddington' model from the French fashion house Chloé, which recently launched a renewed version in honor of the 20th anniversary of the original design. A total luxurious and polished look indeed, completed with gold-brown dangling earrings and retro-style semi-transparent sunglasses.
Like the camel coat, the black leather jacket also belongs to the offerings of the Israeli brand The Rococo. While the brown one has already sold out on the website and is offered for NIS 1,290 (good luck finding it in stores), its black counterpart — in a slightly different cut but just as chic — is sold at a similar price.
The second option, as mentioned, is also faux leather and one of the additions to the brand’s vegan line, in a short bomber cut but slightly oversized. Without mannerisms or design gimmicks — except for the brand’s logo embossed in a subtle aesthetic. Quiet luxury it is.
