An advanced MRI mobile unit, available 24/7, was inaugurated at Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa. The ceremony was attended by Haifa Mayor Mr. Yona Yahav, Mor CEO Yoram Segal, Clalit’s Deputy CEO and Head of the Community Division Ronen Nudelman, Mor Inside CEO Michael Mishori Der'i, Chairman of the Stadium’s Board of Directors Tzvika Barbi, and Stadium CEO Lior Perry.
“This MRI mobile unit will provide innovative and advanced service, with great availability, to all members of the health funds 24/7,” said Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav. “As befits a city like Haifa, this step will significantly improve service to the community – the location of the unit at Sammy Ofer Stadium allows convenient access, the option to use public transportation, and optimal conditions for patients. This is a great announcement for the city of Haifa and the surrounding communities. I welcome the cooperation of the Haifa Municipality and Sammy Ofer Stadium with Clalit Health Services and ‘Mor Inside.’”

The mobile unit is equipped with Philips’ most advanced device, the 5300 MR model, operates 24/7, and joins 11 Mor Inside sites across the country. It will operate in cooperation with Medix Center, owned by Dr. Yoni Yarom – the largest sports medicine center in the north, providing advanced sports medicine, orthopedics, and rehabilitation services. The establishment of the new unit in Haifa is another milestone in expanding Clalit and Mor Inside’s advanced health services for the residents of the north.
