The IDF intercepted 17 Hamas terrorists fleeing Rafah tunnels, killing 11 and arresting six, as an observation officer described how her unit led the detection and targeting effort.

"The agreement is over and [Hamas] is ready to fight," sources told Saudi state-owned Al Arabiya, adding that the ceasefire must be mutual and that "Gaza will not become another Lebanon."

Gunmen crossed east of Gaza’s Yellow Line, marking the boundary for IDF-controlled territory, and approached troops before being struck by the Air Force, according to the IDF.

During a separate operation by the Kfir Brigade, several weapons were found, including Kalashnikov rifles, fragmentation grenades, explosives, magazines, and military uniforms. 

The attack reportedly killed three; however, it is not clear yet if the target of the attack was killed.

This incident comes after the IDF killed several terrorists who also crossed the Yellow Line on Monday. 

The group, whose members participated in the October 7 massacre, called the alleged incident a "cowardly and treacherous assassination operation."

The terrorists were seen planting suspicious objects and approaching IDF troops stationed near the Gaza Yellow Line, the military said.

"Our troops continue operating along the Yellow Line to clear the area and eliminate terrorist strongholds," Zamir said.

"The IDF is preparing a plan to disarm Hamas by resuming fighting." The overall sense is that Israel will need to have a plan in place in case the US-led one doesn’t work or if Hamas re-arms.

The three IDF soldiers killed nearly a year ago in the area were Capt. Ilay Gavriel Atedgi, St.-Sgt. Netanel Pessach, and Sgt.-Maj. Hillel Diener.
