Sources from Gulf states who spoke to the Post said that one reason those countries have not launched an attack is their concern about the “day after.”

Lana Nusseibeh, the UAE's minister of state in the Gulf country's foreign ministry, said she and her nation's neighbors were shocked that Iran had unleashed attacks on them.

It was the latest attempt by the Iranian regime and Iranian-backed militias to target the UAE, which has been attacked with hundreds of drones and missiles since the war with Iran broke out.

The evacuation flights that began on Sunday were expected to return several thousand Israelis who were stranded in the UAE without a way to return to Israel.

Abu Dhabi is "struggling to understand Israeli conduct and the nature of briefings coming out of Jerusalem," a source close to the Emirates told the Post.
