Reflecting on her time in captivity, Megidish added, "I was in captivity for 23 days, which felt like years. The whole 23 days, I feared I would die."

A French court convicts retired surgeon Joel Le Scouarnec of abusing hundreds of patients, including children, for over 25 years.

The concept was first proposed by Justice Minister Shabana Mahmood, who announced the plans to use "medication to manage problematic sexual arousal" following a review.

The police said that the man allegedly repeatedly committed incestual acts both daughters from the time they were both 11 years old.

Many of these acts of violation took place in the municipality's offices and during work hours. In a few instances, he worked to advance the requests put in by the women.

Allegedly, the man lured the child to a house in the south of the city, and committed sexual acts against him. 

"One of the terrorists would touch me all the time," Dafna said. "He insisted on accompanying me to the shower, I wouldn't let him."

The aid office noted that the expansion of aid for victims allows them to be more involved in their cases.

The daughters, who submitted the request to lift the gag order, did so through the legal aid office within the Justice Ministry.
