Ra'anana

Ra'anana is a city in central Israel, located north of Petah Tikva and Tel Aviv but south of Netanya.

The city was established in the early 1900s by immigrants, who founded the town there called "Ahuza A – New York," or "Little America" by the neighboring Arabs.

Since then, immigrants have played a central role in Ra'anana, as despite now having a majority native Israeli population, is still heavily identified with its large population of olim, especially those from France and from English-speaking countries.
