Long lost luxury steamer Lac La Belle found in Lake Michigan

The Lac La Belle was a 66 m steamship built in 1864 in Cleveland, Ohio, and quickly became one of the most popular vessels on Lake Michigan, operating routes between Cleveland and the upper lake.

Toddler dies after mother left her alone for 10 days to go on vacation

A woman in the US was arrested for murder after leaving her toddler, just a year and a half old, alone at home for 10 days while taking a vacation.

 Jailyn Candelario was just under two years old when she was left home alone for 10 days by her mother, leading to her death.
