US President Donald Trump said Iran has agreed to allow long-term nuclear inspections, a claim Tehran has rejected, as he also addressed US naval positioning near the Strait of Hormuz.

The MoU also states that, upon signing, "a mechanism will be agreed upon under which the United States will make available to Iran the funds and assets that have been frozen."

The group told Reuters that there would be "no nuclear deal between Iran and the United States unless the Israelis withdraw" from Lebanon.
