They don’t want universities to use it. They don’t want states and cities to adopt it. And they want the federal government to stop considering it.

Antisemitism is a global problem. It was born in the West and peaked during the Holocaust, leading to its temporary repudiation by polite society.

The IHRA definition is an internationally agreed classification of antisemitism, which also provides examples of how antisemitism too often plays out in all realms of public life.

The attempts by these political groups to advance their agenda by twisting the purpose of the IHRA framework is in fact an attempt to legitimize antisemitism.
