Jewish groups are condemning a Boston middle school principal after he apologized in an email for the impact of a mandatory Holocaust lesson on some students.

One school pupil, Teaghan Murtagh, wrote a letter to the Lexington Observer about Cole's order for her not to wear a T-shirt with the words "Save the bees. Plant more trees. Clean the seas. Punch Nazis."
