The IDF struck and killed Hezbollah terrorists operating at an underground site belonging to the terror group on Monday in the Nabatiya area of southern Lebanon, according to a Tuesday IDF statement.
The Hezbollah operatives were in violation of the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, according to the IDF.
Earlier on Tuesday, the military killed another Hezbollah operative in the Deir Qanoun area of southern Lebanon who was also acting in violation of the ceasefire, according to an IDF statement.
IDF carries out strikes on Hezbollah terrorists, infrastructure, in southern Lebanon
On Monday evening, shortly after the return of St.-Sgt.-Maj. Ran Gvili's body from Gaza, the IDF struck a Hezbollah terrorist near Nabatiya, the military confirmed in a statement.
This follows an earlier strike on a terrorist near Tyre, which the military announced on Monday afternoon.
The IDF later identified this terrorist as "Ali Nour El-Din, who served as head of an artillery squad in the area of Al-Harash in the Hezbollah terrorist organization."
Hezbollah claimed that he was a journalist working for the Al-Manar TV station, owned by the terror group, Reuters reported.
