Israel is willing to reach a security agreement with Syria as long as said agreement is made “in good faith and understanding,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday while visiting wounded IDF soldiers in Sheba Medical Center.
The soldiers were wounded during an overnight operation in southern Syria last week.
The conditions include defending Israel's northern and Druze communities against any future terrorism and hostility from Syrian territory, Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu also cited the need to ensure that Israel is secure from attacks launched from neighboring countries.
This is a developing story.
