Rocket sirens sounded across central Israel and the West Bank following a launch from Iran.
Israeli journalist Amit Segal reported that just one rocket had been launched, and that it was intercepted.
Magen David Adom initially reported that no initial calls to the emergency hotline had been received.
US, Israel launch strikes on Tehran
This comes a day after joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer.
US President Donald Trump said that the strikes were "monumental" in a various statements on Sunday evening.
"Obliteration is an accurate term!" Trump noted in a Truth Social post.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that Israel would not enter a war of attrition with Iran in an address on Sunday night.
"When we achieve the goals, we will not continue with actions beyond what is necessary. But we will not finish too early," he said in a Sunday speech. "When the goals are achieved, the operation will stop."
Earlier in the evening, the IDF struck several key military sites in Iran, including Parchin, where a large Iranian military complex is located.
Iranian state media sources reported that air defences were activated in Karaj, a city west of Tehran, to counter an Israeli attack.
