An Iranian Shahed 136 drone crashed into a two-storey building in Beit She'an in northern Israel on Saturday, according to initial Israeli reports.

Israel's emergency response service, Magen David Adom (MDA), was on the way to the scene, later saying there were no casualties or injuries.

The drone impact follows sirens being activated both in northern Israel, the Golan Heights, as well as the Arava in southern Israel. Attempts were made to intercept the drone in the Arava, the IDF said, and that details are still under investigation. The IDF later said that a drone in the Arava area was intercepted. Firefighters and volunteers work to extinguish a wildfire following drone attack from Iran, in the Golan Heights, on March 20, 2025. Drones launched by Iran

Since the beginning of the war, the Islamic Republic of Iran has launched 1,100 drones. Israel has intercepted over 300 drones, 200 of them over Syria, and 700 drones did not reach Israeli territory at all and fell en route.

Around the same time, drone intrusion sirens sounded Upper Galilee area, but it was a false alarm. However, the Israeli Air Force later intercepted an Iranian drone in Ramat Magshimim.
