U.S. President Donald Trump recently unveiled his new and luxurious bathroom in the White House, adjacent to the Lincoln Bedroom. The designed space, entirely made of Italian marble, gold, and classical aesthetics, instantly became the talk of the design world. But how much would it cost to recreate the same royal bathing experience in an Israeli home?

Kobi Ronen, Vice President of the Negev Group, examined the costs and reveals that this dream is possible – and it would cost about NIS 48,000 for a room of approximately 40 square meters.

“Trump’s bathroom is a true total look,” says Ronen. “Everything is covered in the same marble, everything matches, there are no unnecessary colors – just marble, gold, and white. It creates a sense of quiet power and precise luxury.”

At the heart of the design is Italian marble of the Tatuario type, originating from the Tuscany region in northern Italy, near the city of Carrara. This marble has dramatic natural veins and a stunning shine, imported and cut to size, so that the walls, floor, and sink create a uniform appearance – like a single piece of luxury.

The faucets were also carefully selected. In Israel, they can be found in the LUMIER model by the brand ARMANDO VICARIO, in brushed gold, alongside sanitary ware from Villeroy and Boch – a combination that gives the space a European-classical look.

It’s not just about beauty – the technology behind the design allows one to enjoy a luxurious appearance without maintenance headaches. “Today there are digital porcelain tiles that perfectly mimic natural marble,” explains Ronen. “Huge slabs measuring 120×278 centimeters and only 6 millimeters thick, providing the same classic Italian look – without maintenance, without wear, and durable for life.”

The cost of a complete bathroom in the “Trump Bath” design – including cladding, flooring, faucets, sanitary ware, and accessories – is about NIS 48,000 for a room of roughly 40 square meters.

“This is a bathroom that you can’t remain indifferent to,” says Ronen. “It is luxurious but not showy, clean but not cold. It will always remain relevant – even twenty years from now.”

Are Israelis adopting the presidential trend? Ronen is sure they are. “In the end, we all want the same thing – peace, luxury, and visual cleanliness. This is not a design of passing fashion, but something eternal. Anyone who enters such a bathroom feels like a king, even if they don’t have bodyguards outside.”
