About a week after Apple’s announcement event, Pelephone published the official prices of the new iPhone 17 series, which arrived in stores in Israel on September 26. The published prices show that they are slightly lower compared to last year, despite the increase in iPhone prices abroad, except for the base model which remains at the same price.
Pelephone began pre-sales on the night between Thursday and Friday, September 19, at midnight on the company’s website. Pelephone noted that buyers in the pre-sale started receiving their devices from 08:00 on September 26 – the official start of sales for the new device series – and were able to ensure that the model, color, and storage capacity they requested remained available.
The company exclusively offers lifetime warranty on Apple’s flagship devices, a trade-in option of up to NIS 3,000 for the old device, and the Pele Cash program, which allows customers to return old smartphones and receive money directly into their bank account. “As every year, the launch of the new iPhone series is a peak moment that generates great interest and anticipation among a wide audience, and we expect that this year as well we will see particularly high demand, given that we are launching the iPhone 17 series at lower prices than the launch prices of the iPhone 16 series last year,” said Dror Bahat, Pelephone’s Chief Marketing Officer.
