The winter flight schedule has taken effect, bringing new destinations along with it. airHaifa began operating two new routes on Sunday: One from Ben Gurion Airport to Ramon Airport, and another connecting Haifa Airport to Thessaloniki, Greece.

New winter routes to Ramon and Greece

In the initial stage, the route to Ramon will operate twice daily, with the company expected to increase frequency to three daily flights during November. Flights will depart from Terminal 1, and to mark the launch, the airline is offering introductory one-way tickets starting at NIS 79. The route to Thessaloniki will operate twice weekly, on Sundays and Thursdays.

Ticket prices include a personal handbag or backpack. Adding a trolley bag starts at NIS 49, while checked luggage begins at NIS 77. The company’s existing cancellation policy will also apply to the new routes, allowing passengers to cancel up to 24 hours before departure and receive a credit valid for two years toward future flights.

Election Day 'FLYDAY' promotion

Parallel to the launch, airHaifa is allowing customers to decide on its weekly "FLYDAY" promotion scheduled for Knesset Election Day, Tuesday, October 27. Three options are currently on the table: A 30% discount on November flights, a 25% discount on December flights, or a 20% discount on flights operating from January through March 2027.

Voting is taking place in the Facebook group "airHaifa - The Community" by replying to the post with an emoji corresponding to each option. Each participant may vote once. Voting closes today (Monday) at 6:00 p.m., with results set to be published at 7:00 p.m. The discount that receives the highest number of votes will apply to bookings made through Tuesday midnight.

Good to know: The promotion applies to international flights only and excludes the Ramon route. The discount covers the flight fare only and does not apply to airport taxes, trolley bags, checked baggage, or seat selection. No changes will be permitted on bookings made using the coupon code.

Airline expansion in Israel

Michael Strassburger, co-founder of airHaifa, said that opening the routes is part of the company's expansion. "We continue to expand our destination network and frequencies, creating more convenient and accessible flight options for passengers in Israel, both from the North and the center of the country," he added.
