Israeli psychic and mystifier Uri Geller has appointed US President Donald Trump as the president of his private island, Lamb Island, Geller confirmed in a statement on Monday.

According to Geller, “the global fight over Greenland could spiral into a war involving China and Russia - a disaster the world cannot afford,” and that the true “key to peace” lies on Lamb Island.

In his statement, Geller suggested the island could become America’s 51st state. “If that happens, I am convinced the Greenland issue can be resolved peacefully,” he wrote.

Geller’s plan called for a US warship to be anchored off the coast of Lamb - which is nearly 2,000 miles from Greenland - and to hold peace talks with China and Russia onboard.

“This is not about ego. This is not about politics. This is about preventing war - and turning global tension into something extraordinary,” he wrote.

Joint initiative with Israeli NGO Save a Child’s Heart

In addition to his proposal to the president, Geller opened symbolic citizenship of Lamb Island to the general public for $1, with all proceeds going to the NGO Save a Child’s Heart, which provides open-heart surgery to children from developing countries.

“Uri Geller has been a friend of Save a Child’s Heart for many years, and we highly appreciate his ongoing support through the Lamb Island Citizenship initiative,” Simon Fisher, Executive Director of Save a Child’s Heart, said

History of Lamb Island

Geller purchased the Scottish isle in the Firth of Forth due to his belief it was “a mystical site connected to ancient Egypt, with rumors of hidden treasures possibly buried beneath it.”

Not to be confused with the Lamb Island off the coast of Brisbane, Australia, with over 500 residents, Geller’s Lamb Island has a virtual population, with citizenship being open to anyone who sends “positive thoughts.”

Lamb Island was declared a micronation in 2022 and has its own anthem (My Island) and even a football team (the Lambies).
