The activist group Nahala Settlement Movement, led by Daniella Weiss, published a letter on Wednesday calling for Defense Minister Israel Katz to facilitate a tour inside areas of northern Gaza in order to allow activists to explore opportunities for settling Gaza

This demand was made to "settle the northern sector as an immediate first step toward reconquest, expulsion, and settlement of the entire Gaza Strip," according to Nahala's official X/Twitter account.

"The northern sector has been conquered and expelled - now is the time to settle!" the organization added.

The letter was also signed by six government ministers and 18 other MKs.

The six ministers were: National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir (Otzma Yehudit), Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi (Likud), Social Equality Minister May Golan (Likud), Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar (Likud), Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu (Otzma Yehudit), and Development of the Negev and Galilee and National Resilience Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf (Otzma Yehudit).

The 18 MKs who also signed the letter were: Dan Illouz (Likud), Galit Distel Atbaryan (Likud), Amit Halevi (Likud), Nissim Vaturi (Likud), Ohad Tal (Religious Zionist Party), Zvi Sukkot (RZP) Moshe Solomon (RZP), Limor Son Har-Melech (Otzma Yehudit), Afif Abed (Likud), Zvika Fogel (Otzma Yehudit), Moshe Passal (Likud), Ariel Kallner (Likud), Yitzhak Kreuzer (Otzma Yehudit), Simcha Rothman (RZP), Keti Shitrit (Likud), and Osher Shekalim (Likud).

Settler activists hold protest march near Gaza Strip

Additionally, the settler activists held a protest march near the Gaza Strip on Wednesday afternoon.

The activists, which Weiss claims numbered in the "thousands," were joined by some of the signatories, including Karhi and Har-Melech.
