Likud MK Hanoch Milwidsky was summoned for questioning at Lahav 433 after explicit images of him were distributed to members of the Knesset, Israeli media reported on Friday.

The National Fraud Investigation Unit summoned Milwidsky and two other individuals on suspicion of obstructing justice and sexual misconduct, the police said.

They were all released after questioning, two under certain conditions. The investigation is continuing, and once complete, the case will be handed over for review and decision-making by the Prosecutor's Office.

The offenses were allegedly committed before his election to the Knesset, according to N12.

Several members of the Knesset received emails this week containing intimate images and explicit details about Milwidsky, N12 reported.

The images were sent from an anonymous email address and reached several ministries connected to the Knesset.

The Knesset’s IT department deleted the email from all servers in the building.

Mildwidsky's involvement in a sexual assault case

The sexual assault case happened 11 years ago when Milwidsky reportedly assaulted a content consultant during a meeting in her home.

"The meeting ended. I went to escort him out, and at the door, he physically attacked me," she recalls. "He grabbed my hands, my whole body. I'm a tall woman, but I couldn't break free."

The victims reported at the time that Milwidsky tried to drag her into a corner of the house and refused to let go.

"While he was attacking me, I told him to stop. I knew that if I could raise my voice a little, my roommate would hear. But I couldn't scream. It was like my worst nightmare, being in a situation of assault and not being able to scream."

"It went from 0 to 100 in a second," she recalls. "He didn't even hit on me, didn't say anything. He just attacked me." She adds, "He was so determined. I told him, 'Stop, I'm not interested,' and that just made him more turned on."

"In the middle of the struggle, when I was underneath him, I got an idea and told him that if he didn’t leave me alone right now, I would bite him on the neck, and he’d have to explain it to his wife. It was like a curtain fell from his eyes in that moment; he stopped, and at that moment, he left through the door. He went and texted me saying he was sorry and didn't mean to."

N12 also reported that Milwitsky told a separate woman to give false testimony after she claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Michael Laitman, the leader of the Bnei Baruch association.

Milwidsky has stated that the claims are fabricated. He also stated that the pictures were photoshopped and distributed with the intention of harming him and his career.

"This is a fake investigation and a dangerous political persecution," a statement issued by Milwitsky's lawyer, Efraim Dimri, stated. "The issues presented to MK Milwitsky are over a decade old, and no complaints were filed at the time, nor did they even reach the stage of a police investigation.'

"The decision by the Attorney General to summon MK Milwitsky for questioning just two days after the announcement of his appointment as chairman of the Finance Committee is not coincidental and raises many questions regarding the good faith of his summons."
