Within the span of an hour, the IDF struck and killed two Hezbollah terrorists, including one in the group’s elite Radwan Force, in southern Lebanon, the military said Monday evening.

The IDF named the Radwan Force terrorist, who was reportedly killed in an air force strike, as Muhammad Ali Hadid.

The Radwan Force is considered Hezbollah’s most elite unit and, positioned at the forefront of the organization's military engagements, is tasked with special operations.

“The terrorist advanced numerous terror attacks against the State of Israel, and recently, he has continued attempts to reestablish Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites,” the IDF stated of Hadid.

The IDF did not name the other Hezbollah terrorist, who was struck prior to Hadid, but did note that he was killed in the area of Ayta ash Shab, a Lebanese locality just north of the border with Israel.

The military stated that the terrorist was killed after the IDF identified him attempting to gather intelligence on Israeli forces.

Hezbollah violating Israel-Lebanon understandings, IDF says

“The terrorists' activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the military stated. “The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”

The IDF activity follows similar actions that occurred on Monday. The IDF noted that the earlier strikes killed the Radwan Force’s logistics support officer in southern Lebanon, along with three other Radwan Force terrorists.

According to Lebanese reports, all four terrorists were inside a vehicle at the time of the strike.
