Two terrorists attempted to run over and shoot at IDF soldiers at the Bell checkpoint in the West Bank on Thursday, the military confirmed. 

One terrorist was armed and attempted to shoot at soldiers, while the other attempted to ram the soldiers.

The military killed the armed terrorist, and arrested the other.

There were no injuries to IDF soldiers, the military confirmed.

A similar attack occurred earlier this week on civilians

Two Israeli teenagers were injured in a similar incident on Tuesday from a combined ramming and stabbing attack at the Al-Khader junction on Highway 60, south of Jerusalem.

The incident unfolded around noon near the tunnel road checkpoint.

The IDF is continuing to conduct counterterror operations across the West Bank, including locating and seizing a large rocket cache in Beitunia, near Ramallah, between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
