Popular beauty retailer Sephora will open three pop-up stores in Israel in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in late August, according to a KAN News report on Sunday.
The stores will be opened in collaboration with Israeli beauty retailer Glam42 stores, which will be the official importer for Sephora’s in-house cosmetics line, Sephora Collection.
According to KAN, the pop-ups will only carry Sephora Collection.
Pop-ups to remain open for six months, gauge interest among Israeli market
Two Tel Aviv locations, in Azrieli Tel Aviv and Ayalon Mall, will open on August 19, and one location at Jerusalem’s Malha Mall will open on August 21.
KAN reported that the stores are estimated to be open for six months.
Three additional locations will be opened later, and five Sephora Collection sections will be added to pre-existing Glam42 branches.
According to KAN, the decision to open the pop-ups with only Sephora Collection products was made to gauge interest in the Israeli market. If the pop-ups are successful, the retailer may expand operations towards something more similar to Sephora’s locations in other countries.
