A mosque in the West Bank village of Kusra was set on fire on Saturday night, in what is suspected to be a nationalist crime in response to the deadly attack that occured the day earlier.
The words "Revenge for Benayahu," one of the victims killed in Friday's terror attack, were spray-painted on the entrance wall alongside a Star of David.
"Imagine the reaction if a Palestinian, or even a Frenchman, had set fire to a synagogue," said MK Ahmad Tibi in an X/Twitter post on Sunday. "When a mosque is burned, and those responsible are not arrested, that is not a 'price tag.' This is Jewish terrorism."
Tibi went on to condemn the "settler-terrorists" as "invaders, arsonists, uprooters, and murderers," before labeling the attack an action of "Jewish supremacy."
In addition, five vehicles were set ablaze in the village of Beitillu. Near Khirbet Abu Falah, tractors and trucks were also torched. Two Palestinians who were apparently beaten during the incident were evacuated from the scene to a hospital for medical treatment.

The incidents came two days after Benayahu Mellet, a member of the local emergency response squad and the agriculture coordinator at Havat Gilad, was murdered in a shooting attack near the outpost on Friday. Maj. Yuval Ezra, 27, from Herzliya, a battery commander in the Artillery Corps, was also killed in the same incident.
In light of the escalation in recent days, OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth on Sunday barred Palestinian laborers from entering Israeli communities in the West Bank, with the exception of industrial zones, in an effort to reduce friction between the populations, according to a security source.
The source added that construction sites may receive exemptions at the request of local communities.
The weekend escalation began with Friday's deadly attack. The IDF assesses that the incident was spontaneous, but stressed that the group's departure on the excursion without prior coordination was a serious breach and that the entire incident remains under investigation.
According to a military source, dozens of Palestinians were inside the village during the incident. In the initial confrontation, a rifle and a handgun were taken from a member of the local emergency response squad, after which the attacker opened fire and killed him.
