Several locations in central Israel were hit by fragments from an Iranian missile following a launch towards the region, according to reports received by Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah on Tuesday morning.

Sirens sounded across the region at approximately 9:10 a.m. following the identification of an Iranian missile, believed to contain a cluster munitions warhead, according to initial reports in Israeli media.

United Hatzalah stated that they had received no reports of injuries to individuals, as of 9:40 a.m., despite the damage caused by fragments hitting across the region.

The Rosh Ha'ayin Municipality stated that there was significant damage to both residences and a pedestrian street across the city, but that no injuries were reported.

Shortly after the incident, MDA posted footage of damage in central Israel, appearing to show a car that was flipped over, as well as other damage in the area. Walla later noted that this was in Ramat Hasharon.

Additionally, United Hatzalah posted footage appearing to show some damage to a road in Ramat Gan, and volunteers at the scene of a reported hit in Ramat Hasharon.

Other damage was caused to a residential building in Tel Aviv, as well as to other houses and vehicles in Rosh Ha'ayin, Walla noted.

Israel Police officers confirmed that they scanned sites across the Tel Aviv area for shrapnel damage.

Meanwhile, an additional missile armed with a cluster munition targeted Eilat and the Arava at the same time, but was successfully intercepted, without causing any damage.
