Tens of thousands of Maccabi patients experienced issues with receiving prescriptions, lab tests, and imaging on Tuesday.

Just before 6 p.m., Maccabi services returned to full operation.

According to the health fund, the malfunction was due to a disruption at Bezeq International.

"Due to a technical issue at Bezeq International, there has been a temporary impact on the operation of some of the service systems. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to restore full service as soon as possible," Maccabi said in a statement.

Insured individuals were asked not to visit X-ray centers and labs after the malfunction disrupted the transmission of referrals for these tests.

Website, apps, call center not syncing

The website, app, and call center were not syncing, and therefore, patients were unable to fulfill digital referrals for prescriptions, except with a printed prescription.

The issue was partially fixed earlier so that insured individuals could receive digital prescriptions, though only at Maccabi Pharm branches, not at Super-Pharm branches.
