Jeremy Diamond, a journalist at CNN's Jerusalem bureau, posted a picture on his social media on Monday showing the aftermath of someone smashing the back window of his vehicle.

"We managed to escape unharmed," Diamond wrote.

He was covering a story for CNN on a Palestinian-American citizen who was killed on Friday in a suspected attack by far-Right Israeli activists when the vandalism occurred.

"This is just a sliver of the reality many Palestinians face in the West Bank amid rising settler violence," Diamond commented.

“There’s no accountability,” said the father of the killed Palestinian-American, Kamel Musallet, who flew from the US to bury his son. “We demand the United States government do something about it... I don’t want his death to go in vain,” Reuters reported.

Who was the Palestinian-American killed?

According to Diamond, the killed Palestinian-American was weeks away from his 21st birthday and owned an ice cream shop in Tampa, Florida, with his father.
