Flags with the symbols of Palestinian terrorist organizations were displayed are the forefront of an October 7 massacre anniversary march in New York City on Tuesday, according to videos published on Telegram and X by protest organizer Within Our Lifetime.

In videos of the Manhattan march and rally at News Corp, the green Hamas flag could be seen waving at the front of the crowd. It was also displayed behind Muslim worshippers as they prayed before the march.

A Palestinian flag emblazoned with the image of deceased Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida was also at the forefront of the march.

Another flag that was apparent in the video belonged to the terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

"Glory to our martyrs," read one banner featuring the red inverted triangle used in Hamas propaganda videos to denote an enemy target. "Victory to the resistance."

Protesters waving Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs chanted "long live the intifada" and called for "death to the IDF" as they marched in the streets.

Marchers assigned blame to the United States for a supposed genocide in Gaza that ostensibly followed the October 7 massacre. The protesters said that they were acting "from the belly of the beast."

The protest, which had called to "flood" New York City in reference to the Hamas name for the 2023 massacre, Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, focused on the media's supposed role in "lying and manufacturing consent for genocide, dehumanizing Palestinians."

"Honor the martyrs of Gaza and all of Palestine. For 77 years Israel has waged genocide against the Palestinian people, and for the past two years Gaza has endured a new stage of that genocide while the world has watched it unfold live on our screens," WOL said on X Friday.

"Governments, including the United States, have done nothing but enable it. Let New York City echo with the names and memories of those taken by Israel’s drones, bombs, bullets, prisons, and siege. Netanyahu is only one face of this genocide, a front man for a Zionist project carried forward with US support. It is our duty in the belly of the beast to make clear that the people of New York City stand against genocide and Zionism," WOL's statement continued.

Praise for Yahya Sinwar

Bronx Anti-War Coalition also announced on social media on Tuesday that it would hold a vigil next Thursday for deceased Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and other "martyrs against Zionism and US-led imperialism."

The coalition praised Sinwar as "leader of Al-Qassam Brigades and architect of Al-Aqsa Flood - the greatest military operation of the century which globalized the intifada."

The group called in supporters to study Sinwar's strategy, and used Gazan "resistance" as a blueprint.
