The Yours Consumer Club, known in Hebrew as Shelcha, and the Larger Than Life Association are expanding their social partnership through the organization’s annual gala, which will mark 26 years of activity under the theme “New Day Will Rise,” organizers said.

The event, to be held in Israel this year, is intended to raise support for children with cancer and their families while offering subsidized tickets to club members. The organizers did not provide an exact date or venue in the statement.

Artists to perform alongside children from the nonprofit

Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon, and Itai Herman are expected to perform at the gala, alongside children supported by Larger Than Life. The event will be hosted by Israeli television personality Tzvika Hadar, according to the organizers.

The partnership is built around what the organizers described as a “double benefit” model. Yours Consumer Club members will be able to purchase subsidized tickets, with a NIS 300 ticket sold for NIS 199 and a NIS 500 ticket sold for NIS 395.

Subsidized tickets tied to direct support

According to the organizers, each ticket purchase will help fund the nonprofit’s work while allowing members to attend the cultural fundraising event. A previous JPost.com report on the partnership said Yours Consumer Club and Larger Than Life had also cooperated on Purim packages for children with cancer and their families.

The current cooperation follows additional joint initiatives, including donations, the “Train of Smiles” project, and the purchase of mishloach manot packages, the organizers said. Those projects are intended to provide material support, emotional relief, and moments of normalcy for children and families facing cancer.

Organizers cite community responsibility

“Cooperation with the Larger Than Life Association is far beyond a social initiative, it is an inseparable part of our vision to connect community, mutual responsibility, and meaning,” Yours Consumer Club CEO Sigalit Cohen-Baruch said.

“The subsidized ticket model for the gala enables us to create a double impact, both to donate to the association and to allow club members to take part in an exceptional evening that moves people and changes reality,” she added.

Gil Bar-Tal, chairman of Histadrut HaMa'of, said the partnership reflected “solidarity, social responsibility, and genuine concern for others.” He said the model showed how consumer organizations can support a public cause while creating a shared community experience.

Larger Than Life marks 26 years of activity

Larger Than Life works with children with cancer and their families, regardless of religion, gender, or nationality, according to the organizers. JPost.com has previously reported that the organization provides support for children with cancer and their families, including emotional, educational, and rehabilitation programs.

A separate JPost.com report described Larger Than Life’s Kindergarten of Dreams near Soroka Medical Center as an educational rehabilitation center operating in specially adapted conditions for children with weakened immune systems.

In a 2025 JPost.com article, Larger Than Life’s CEO wrote that families of children with cancer face emotional, physical, and financial strain, and that third-sector organizations continue to play a significant role in supporting them.

The organizers said the gala is designed to connect consumer activity with social responsibility, turning discounted access to a cultural event into direct support for the nonprofit’s continued work.
