During Purim, Cinema City Beersheba will transform into a studio and an elaborate production with dedicated family activities, combining children’s content with a professional photo experience of the kids in costume, creative stations, face painting, and a colorful Purim atmosphere. In the evening, LED characters will circulate in the dining and entertainment areas. All of this will be free of charge. Activities will take place in two sessions: The first from 11:00–14:00 and the second from 16:00–19:00.
In addition to the Purim activities, this year Cinema City Beersheba will also host Arcteta’s costume pop-up, returning after last year’s success. The pop-up is taking place from February 24–March 5, Sunday–Thursday from 10:00–22:00 and Friday from 10:00–14:00, near PATRICK'S. The venue will offer Purim costumes and clothing in a variety of styles for a wide range of audiences.
The Purim celebration at the complex will provide parents with a convenient and organized way to document costumes: Three specially designed photo walls will be set up, where three professional photographers will photograph children in costume and provide them with a high-quality Purim keepsake free of charge. In addition, a face-painting and creative area with coloring sheets and drawings for children will be available, including painting stations with exclusive illustrations produced for the event and professional makeup artists for face painting, allowing children to enjoy continuous activity around the photo experience. After dark, the atmosphere in the complex will change: Adults and visitors at Cinema City will be able to enjoy futuristic LED characters roaming between cafes and restaurants, creating an energetic and sparkling nighttime Purim experience. The event will be accompanied by an extensive digital campaign and will include dedicated branding throughout the complex. Visitors will be able to enjoy a combination of free attractions alongside the usual shopping and dining experience at Cinema City.
As part of Purim events at Cinema City Beersheba, themed Purim evenings will also be held in the complex’s restaurants, with makeup stations, costumed teams, and instant photo booths. At Patrick's South, 1980s (March 2) and Disney (March 3) parties will start at 20:00 with DJ Sapir; at River restaurant, a casino night (March 2) and jungle night (March 3) will feature DJ Cusmano and DJ Eldad; and at Luciana, “Luciana in the Village” (March 2) and “Greek Gods” (March 3) evenings will take place, with music and festive atmosphere matching the concept.
